Storming into Summer

June came to an end with one of the worst thunderstorms we have seen for a long time, and we welcome July with the hope of better weather as we prepare to PARTY! Whether or not you've already been on holiday...or waiting to go!...at Label we'll be ready to cure those Ibiza blues or maybe put you through boozy boot camp as you prepare for a messy week in Ibiza! Everyone is ready for fun and Label will supply all you with a fantastic venue and great drinks offers throughout all the Summer madness!

The end of June saw the nation celebrate National Armed Forces Day. A day in which we celebrate the brave men and women who serve our country. To celebrate this we dressed our staff up in their sexiest camo gear and helped raise money for the Help For Heroes charity. The weekend was a huge success and we managed to raise over £300 pounds. So thank you to all the customers who donated and Thank you to all the people serving is the countries armed forces.

July also brings the long awaited released of The Dark Knight sequel, The Dark Knight Rises! Our expectations are high already from the late Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight, but with an all star cast you can expect to see Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and of course...Batman himself Christian Bale. The movie is due to premier on 20th July in the UK it's set 8 years after The Dark Night Batman returns to Gotham to make amends after he took the wrap for Harvey Dent's crimes. He must save the city from the evil of Bane, the only villan in the comics to "Break the Bat", will this happen in the movie we can only wait and see. And how will the ever elusive Cat Woman turn out, will she be working with or against the bat. Here is the awesome trailer, tweet us and let us know what you think! @label_newcastle / #LabelTakeover:

To celebrate 4th of July our fashion theme for the week is stars and stripes to celebrate American Independance Day. After all the Union Jack craze for the Jubilee I think it's time for a change! The key rule to sporting this look is: LESS IS MORE. Don't overdo it or you may end up looking like a yankee version of Ollie Locke, and no one wants that. Try one item such as a top, shorts or maybe even a pair of shoes! This will brighten up your whole outfit and give your look a bit of an edge. Here are some pics of the stunning stars and stripes queen Katy Perry, let us know how you get on and tweet us at @label_newcastle / #LabelLook:
